Power and Energy
Power and Industry shipping and logistics is done by team of experts at Oceanic after conducting feasibility studies and research. It includes shipping a wide variety of oversized equipment, solutions for carriage of fuel and hazardous materials to the final destinations across the globe. Energy resources project that we take up with careful planning and strategy for shipping include Natural Gas, Truck / Vehicles Petroleum, wind turbines, power plant generators. Mining
Transportation and logistics of mined products like copper, silver or iron from remote mining sites has its own challenges like transportation of heavy mining equipment and appropriate transportation for cargo (rail or road), which we don’t have to deal with in most cases, but Oceanic’s expertise arises with assurance of containers availability for timely pick up and space reservation with vessel operators matching the delivery of cargo to Port of loading. Incase multimodal transportation need arises then we engage our 3PL and 4PL networks to provide complete documentation, transportation and logistics solution door to door or, door to port, port to door and port to port.
Machinery and Machine Tools
Our team of experts study, analyze, calculate the dimensions of cargo to arise at exact needs that the oversized cargo like huge / heavy equipment, cranes, crankcases for hyper compressors and helicopters, sensitive military equipment or digging / drilling machinery etc. Accordingly we ensure the availability of as many Open Tops, Flat Racks and Flat Beds requirements. Cement Industries
Cement is shipped in bulk or, alternatively, in 50 kg paper sacks or one to two tonne polypropylene bags. Bagged cement for export is packed in multi-ply bags with up to five layers, one of which can be made from a damp-proof or water-proof material. At Oceanic we understand the need of timely shipments and provide cost efficient transportation.
Agriculture

A bulk-power transmission network is therefore used to move the power long distances, sometimes across international boundaries, until it reaches its wholesale customer (usually the organisation that owns the local electric power distribution network). Specific transportation needs vary—Gulf Coast lignite is generally transported over very short distances to minemouth power plants, Appalachian and Illinois Basin coals are typically transported over somewhat longer distances from mine to market, and coal mined in the Powder River Basin may travel distances ranging from less than 100 miles to more than 1,500 miles before it reaches the user (NCC, 2006). Therefore, growth in coal use depends on having sufficient capacity to deliver increasing amounts of coal reliably and at reasonable prices. Conversely, insufficient capacity, insufficient confidence in reliable delivery, or excessive transportation prices could reduce or eliminate growth in coal use.
